چکیده
Abstract With the long-term goal of developing an ultra-sensitive microcantilever-based biosensor for versatile biomarker detection, new controlled bioreceptor-analytes systems are being explored to overcome disadvantages conventional ones. Gold (Au) microwires have been used as a probe tolerance problem that occurs in response changes environmental conditions. However, cytotoxicity Au is still unclear. Here, we examined using both commercial and as-synthesised microwires. In vitro experiments show with average quoted length 5.6 µm highly toxic against Gram-negative Escherichia coli ( E. ) at 50 µg/mL. this toxicity due presence CTAB surfactant not by Conversely, non-cytotoxicity even maximum viable concentration (330 µg/mL). These findings may lead development potentially life-saving cytotoxicity-free biosensors early diagnostic potential diseases.

development of different optical methods for determination of glucose using cadmium telluride quantum dots and silver nanoparticles
a simple, rapid and low-cost scanner spectroscopy method for the glucose determination by utilizing glucose oxidase and cdte/tga quantum dots as chromoionophore has been described. the detection was based on the combination of the glucose enzymatic reaction and the quenching effect of h2o2 on the cdte quantum dots (qds) photoluminescence.in this study glucose was determined by utilizing glucose...
Development of ultra sensitive nanoscale biosensor devices using carbon nanotube - field effect transistors ( CNT - FETs )
Direct formation of iron phosphate nanoparticles on solid substrates with a narrow size distribution (average diameter = 2.2 nm) has been achieved by a simple spontaneous reaction of ferric chloride and phosphoric acid on hydroxyl-terminated SiO2/Si substrates. Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) are grown in high yield from the synthesized iron phosphate nanoparticles by thermal chemical va...
متن کاملDevelopment of Ultra-Thin Glass-Coated Amorphous Microwires for High Frequency Magnetic Sensors Applications
The giant magneto-impedance (GMI) effect has been studied in 3 different families of amorphous wires: conventional amorphous wires (125 μm in diameter), cold drawn wires (50 and 20 μm in diameter) and thin glass coated amorphous microwires (with metallic nucleus diameter of about 15 μm). These wires have been investigated in the frequency range 1 – 500 MHz. A remarkable difference in the magnet...
